EXCELLENT ENVIRONMENT

After completing a two-year course in economics and administrative studies at Molde University College, Sølvi commenced employment as an accountant at Sunnmørsfisk, then moved on to ODIM. There she ensures correct handling of invoices and other accounting duties, and is in fact in charge of the accounting side.

As Manager of the ”accounts team” she ensures, together with colleagues, that everything runs smoothly regarding handling of incoming and outgoing invoices, payments to suppliers, VAT reporting, bank balance sheets and other reconciliations and any other tasks that run in connection with the monthly and quarterly balancing of accounts.

“It’s been really hectic for quite a while now, with a lot of work that has to be done and deadlines that have to be met. So, you can imagine it is an absolute blessing that the environment here is excellent, the relaxed atmosphere amongst us means we gladly go the extra mile,” maintains Sølvi. “Of course, I’m not just thinking in terms of ”the accounts team”, but everyone. We have gone on trips together and have got to know each other very well as time’s gone by, and that makes lunchtime a high point of the day, giving an added boost to providing energy, both physically and mentally. It’s so important to enjoy being at work,” says Sølvi, who has worked in ODIM since January 2001.
