ODIM Modular CT Tower
ODIM JMC have extensive experience in designing and fabricating Well Intervention Towers.
Towers typical comprise three winches with capacity from three to 17 MT. A dedicated personal basket is included to eliminate the use of man rider. Two CCTV, telephone, PA A and B, outlet for drill water, high-pressure water, instrument air and work air are located at the work deck. In addition the tower can be equipped with 100MT false rotary table. All functions including skidding of the tower are controlled by a radio control unit.
Key benefits:
• Module based design
• Fast rig-up
• Section intermediate locks are patented and remotely operated
• Three winches (e.g. two 3T + one 17T)
• “False” rotary with master bushing interface
• Three “mouse” holes
• CCTV surveillance
• All utilities are mounted in dedicated basket
• No need for extensive utility hook-up offshore, few leakage points.
• No man rider operations needed. JMC developed, fabricated and installed the Snorre A well intervention Tower in November 2004. The installation was a success. We used two hours and 45 minutes to stack the tower with the platform crane including the pick-up of the sections from two different vessels. |
ODIM Modular Tower The tower concept has been developed for increased efficiency and safety, and designed to be fit for purpose. |
